FM 2444 and SH 357 Corridor Mobility Studies

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) began two studies in June 2007 to identify improvements along Staples Street (FM 2444) and Saratoga Boulevard (SH 357).  The purpose of these studies is to determine and evaluate transportation improvements that will improve public safety and traffic flow along these corridors, as well as allowing for economic growth and coordinated development.  These studies will provide a list of short-term, medium-range, and long-term transportation improvements.  The improvements to be developed and analyzed will be within the corridor’s existing right-of-way. The Corpus Christi Metropolitan Planning Organization and the City of Corpus Christi are participating in these projects.
